Major/Essential Functions
Manage and strategically plan/execute the installation and maintenance of a roadside weather network.Manage relationships with federal and state agencies, network users, contractors, and consulting engineers.Lead development of automated QA/QC algorithms for acquired measurements.Assist with installation and maintenance of West Texas Mesonet stations.Assist with the development of targeted data products and streams for network users.Help write proposals to conduct associated research.Drive to / from network sitesPreferred Qualifications
Ability to conceptualize and provide design guidance for new web-based product development.Knowledge of Campbell Scientific data loggers and CRBasic programming language.Familiarity with roadside winter weather road management.Knowledge of weather-related sensors and associated measurements....
