In this role, you will:
Set the strategic direction for technology and digital, ensuring alignment with the Council’s priorities and transformation ambitions.
Lead the design, development and delivery of high-quality, customer-focused technology and digital services.
Drive innovation, including the use of AI and emerging technologies, while ensuring risks are understood and effectively managed.
Transform and develop the Technology and Digital service, embedding best practice, modern delivery approaches and a strong performance culture.
Oversee major programmes and projects, ensuring new systems and solutions are delivered successfully without disruption to frontline services.
Provide leadership across operations, infrastructure, cyber security, service delivery, and contract and supplier management.
