Director of Engineering

The Director of Engineering leads SOLS Energy's entire engineering function and is the final technical authority across the full lifecycle of every solar PV and BESS system we design, deliver, and operate — from feasibility and design through procurement, construction, testing & commissioning, and long‑term asset performance.

Sitting above the Technical Department, this role sets engineering standards, governs design quality and final sign‑off, builds and develops the engineering team, owns technical risk and regulatory compliance, and drives innovation and new capability (BESS, EV charging, monitoring platforms, and new market segments). The role carries direct accountability for engineering quality, project technical integrity, fleet performance, and the commercial outcomes that flow from technical decisions.
