Position Details

JOB SUMMARY: The Curriculum Director will have district-wide executive responsibility in areas of curriculum, instruction, assessment, staff development, and school improvement. The director will provide leadership in the development, implementation, and coordination of the District’s curriculum. The Curriculum Director shall report to the Superintendent of Schools.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (May include but not be limited to):

  • Provides effective leadership in organization, development, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum and instructional services;

  • Provides leadership to coordinate and implement an effective professional development program for PreK-12 professional staff aligned with strategic plan;

  • Coordinates the District’s and building(s) School Improvement Plans, Annual School Reports, and State reports, ensuring they align with the District Strategic Plan;
