Director of Accounting - Mex (Monterrey)

Perform multiple general ledger-related activities to include analyzing financial statements and balance sheets, preparing GL account reconciliations, monthly close and financial reporting.

• Lead Mexico based accounting teams that are responsible for the accounting at both Mexico en-tities and certain areas supporting the US accounting teams, including conducting activities as-sociated with coaching and training.
• Manage month-end close activities for the entire set of Mexico financials and areas supporting the US accounting close, including preparation or review of journal entries, reconciliations, and other duties as necessary.
• Determine whether discrepancies exist and recommend actions to resolve them.
• Analyze and review business drivers of balance sheet and income statement variances.
