Director Nursing Emergency Services

**Job Summary and Responsibilities**

As our Director Nursing ER at Mercy San Juan Medical Center, you will direct the operations of our Emergency Services, comprised of a 32 bed ER seeing on average 225 patients per day, and a 6 bed outpatient Crisis Stabilization Unit. We are a paramedic base station hospital, and the safety net hospital for Dignity Health's Sacramento Market. To help support you as the Director, we have a Nurse Manager ER, an Emergency Services Educator, and a team of Nurse Shift Managers.

Every day, you will work with Sr. Leadership on strategy and key initiatives, and work with your front-line leaders to ensure we maintain high standards of patient care. You will advise medical staff, other department heads, and administrators in matters related to patient care, clinical best practices, and strategies.
