Who We Are

Black Engineers of Canada (BEC) is a not‑for‑profit professional organization geared towards providing a safe environment for Black engineers where they can aspire and become a better version of themselves. We empower and uplift the Black Engineers community, including youth and aspiring engineers, by advocating for equitable opportunities, enhancing living conditions, and promoting mental health improvement. We achieve this through robust mentorship programs, impactful networking events, innovative educational initiatives, safe spaces for difficult conversations, and dedicated research efforts. We are committed to leveraging all our human and financial resources towards realizing a stronger, and more inclusive community.
