Director, Inland Procurement

Location Naperville, IL.


This position will follow a hybrid work-from-home/office model with at least three days in the office weekly Role Summary Leads NA Procurement team in developing strategies that secure industry leading service while maintaining cost stability and competitiveness.


Additional Responsibilities

• Responsible Inland Operations procurement team to include truck rates and routes as well as optimization efforts.
  
• Overall scope of functional area service procurement includes Rail and Truck transportation contracting, Depot and M&R Services and Chassis provisioning.
  
• Directive is to insure cargo moves using the most cost efficient routings.
  
• Works cross functionally and with external groups to accomplish service goals and cost containment goals.
