Director, Global Accounting & Finance

POSITION SUMMARY:

HIAS seeks a Director, Global Accounting & Finance to provide leadership and oversight of accounting and financial operations for Country Offices across Africa, Eurasia, and Latin America. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), country office regulatory compliance, donor requirements, and organizational policies. This role works closely with headquarters colleagues to strengthen financial systems, address audit findings, mitigate financial risk, and ensure timely and accurate financial information to support program delivery and decision making.
