Digital Scholarship Data Librarian

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

+ Consults with researchers on digital scholarship projects, including guidance on best practices, workflows, scope, relevant methodologies and technologies

+ Assists scholars in managing research outputs, including organization and long-term preservation strategies

+ Advises researchers on options for publishing digital scholarship outputs in online repositories, open access journals, or other appropriate platforms

+ Partners with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate digital scholarship initiatives

+ Develops, teaches, and assesses workshops and programming in support of digital scholarship

+ Staffs the digital scholarship service point

+ Stays current on emerging trends in digital scholarship methodologies, technologies, and tools

+ Other duties as assigned
