Digital Forensics Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct digital forensic examinations of computers, storage devices, and networks in support of criminal, civil, and administrative investigations
• Identify potential evidentiary data sources and utilize appropriate tools and techniques to collect and preserve digital evidence
• Analyze collected data to identify relevant information and draw conclusions based on findings
• Prepare detailed reports documenting examination methods, results, and conclusions
• Present findings in court or other legal proceedings as needed
• Stay up-to-date on advances in digital forensics technology and methodology
• Maintain chain of custody for all evidence collected
• Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and policies governing digital evidence collection and analysis
• Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain the highest level of confidentiality
