Dietitian - Gastroenterology and Oncology

Are you an experienced Band 5, or an established Band 6 Dietitian looking for your next challenge?

If so, we have an exciting opportunity to recruit to a full-time, 1-year fixed term Band 6 Specialist Dietitian, to deliver a specialist gastroenterology & oncology dietetic service at George Eliot Hospital (3 days gastroenterology, 2 days oncology). This will include working in in-patient and out-patient settings.

Post registration dietetic experience in nutrition support ideally in an acute setting and a genuine interest and enthusiasm to specialise in gastroenterology and oncology is essential.

You need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Working as a member of the dietetic team and with other healthcare professionals, you will deliver an efficient and evidence-based dietetic service. You will also be involved in student dietetic training.
