Dietitian (Advanced Level Practice)

Summary The Integrative and Functional Nutrition (IFN) Registered Dietitian (RD) is the medical nutrition expert responsible for independently planning, developing and directing all nutritional care activities for assigned clients, based upon a nutrition systems assessment involving biochemical individuality. He/she coordinates nutritional care with other health care providers in the integrative or functional medicine healthcare team, the client, the client's family and the community. Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to: - Leads dietitians and speciality multidisciplinary teams in developing nutrition related services, policies, procedures and/or protocols. - Provides comprehensive medical nutritional care applying the NCP in a specialty program, and/or a variety of patient care settings.
