Diesel Technician

Requirements: Matric (Grade 12). Minimum of 2 to 3 years' experience in a similar Diesel Technician role. Qualified Diesel Trade Test. Valid Code 14 driver's licence with PDP. Strong technical knowledge and diagnostic abilities. Good understanding of workshop procedures and systems. Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination. Strong attention to detail. Good communication skills. Ability to work independently and within a team. Commitment to health and safety standards. Responsibilities: Support the Workshop Foreman and maintain positive internal working relationships. Perform repairs, servicing and maintenance to the highest standards. Accurately record hours worked and sold on job cards. Record all lubricants, parts and consumables used during repairs. Follow workshop systems and processes as instructed by management.
