Diesel Technician Apprentice

## Position Summary
The Diesel Technician Apprentice works alongside a knowledgeable Casella Waste Diesel Technician to learn and further develop skills. The Apprentice provides maintenance, repairs vehicles and equipment, and mainly focuses on preventative maintenance and maintaining the safety of all vehicles and equipment. The Diesel Technician Apprentice will continue in this role until they compete all training requirements.
**The starting hourly rate for this position is $25 per hour and comes with an annual $2,000 tool allowance. Preference will be given to candidates who are able and willing to work 2nd shift hours.**

+ Gains an understanding of basic parts, processes, and maintenance techniques as instructed by knowledgeable technicians.
