Diesel Mechanic - (Head Mechanic)

Minimum Requirements

• Trade Tested Diesel Mechanic qualification
• Minimum 5–8 years’ experience working on heavy mining or earthmoving equipment
• Previous supervisory or team leader experience
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience on equipment such as CAT, Komatsu, Bell, Hitachi, Volvo, or similar
• Valid driver’s license
• No criminal record
• Medically fit

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising and leading a team of diesel mechanics and assistants
• Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy-duty diesel machinery
• Managing preventative and breakdown maintenance schedules
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company procedures
