Diesel Mechanic (FAW Truck Experience)

Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 (Matric). Qualified Diesel Mechanic (Red Seal Trade Test preferred). Valid driver's license (Code 14 advantageous). Minimum 5 years' experience as a Diesel Mechanic. Proven experience working on FAW trucks is essential. Experience with heavy commercial vehicles and fleet maintenance. Experience with engine, gearbox, differential, and brake system repairs Strong knowledge of diesel engines and vehicle systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams. Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Computer literacy and experience using diagnostic software. Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities Key Responsibilities: Conduct preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing on FAW trucks.
