Diesel Fitter Trade Tested

Please note that candidates residing in Cape Town will be given first preference. Minimum Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license
• Own reliable transport preferred
• Experience working on large Commercial Marine Engines
• Trade Tested

• Must have OWN Toolbox
• 3- 5 years Diesel Fitter experience within the marine sector
• Strong expertise in engine overhauls & hydraulic tensioning tools
• Solid understanding of fuel, lube oil, cooling water, air systems, precision measuring

• Perform maintenance & repairs on Wartsila/MAN/Caterpillar Diesel engines
• Overhaul key engine components (cylinder heads, pistons, liners, pumps, bearings
• Support engine overhauls & axillary system repairs as assigned
• Complete basic Job Cards & service reports
• Uphold safety, compliance, and operational standards across vessels
