Dialysis Licensed Practical Nurse

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Dialysis Nurse to join our nephrology team. The ideal candidate will have 3–4 years of hands-on experience in providing haemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis treatment to patients with renal failure. The role requires strong clinical judgment, technical skills, and the ability to provide safe, effective, and empathetic care to patients undergoing dialysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment & Preparation: Conduct pre-dialysis assessments including vital signs, weight, and access site evaluation.
• Prepare and educate patients about the dialysis process, dietary restrictions, and fluid management.
• Review medical records and coordinate care with the nephrologist and multidisciplinary team.
• Dialysis Treatment Management: Set up, prime, and monitor dialysis machines in accordance with unit protocols.
