DESPATCH SUPERVISOR

SCOPE: Maintain a department organizational structure sufficient to meet all goals and objectives. MAIN TASKS: Directs and supervises staff; Assigning and delegating projects; Ensure that proper staff levels are maintained; Coaches and mentors and/or implements corrective action for performance; Conduct employee evaluations, reviews and approves employee timesheets; Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates; Ensures assignments are completed on schedule and in a timely manner; Ensure training and supervision is provided at all times; Ensure that all despatch equipment is maintained and in operational condition; Perform any/all duties and responsibilities as a Supervisor, oversees route-scheduling systems and despatch appropriate employees and vehicles. Performs other clerical duties as assigned to maintain operations of the warehouse.
