WE’RE HIRING: MERCHANDISER CUM DESIGNER Location: Kolkata | Full-time Albeli is looking for a hands-on production merchandiser who can manage the complete journey from design ideation and sampling to production and final quality control. This role requires someone who understands fabrics, embroidery, artisan-led production, and commercial design development. The candidate should be comfortable working directly with designers, karigars, dyers, vendors, and the internal production team. Key responsibilities: • Develop approximately 10 commercially viable design concepts every month based on market trends, buyer feedback, and the brand’s design language • Convert initial ideas into workable designs through references, sketches, artwork tracing, fabric selection, and embroidery detailing • Manage sampling and production merchandising from concept approval to final execution • Prepare line sheets, Bills of Materials, material codes, style files, and detailed production documents • Coordinat...
