Designated Safeguarding Lead Nurse

Job summary
We are seeking applications for the role of the Lead Designated Nurse for Safeguarding in Black Country ICB. The postholder will be responsible for strategic and operational management of the ICB designated safeguarding functions and ensuring the ICB fulfils all statutory safeguarding duties. As such they will be knowledgeable and able to demonstrate considerable experience in all aspects of safeguarding relating to adults and children. The postholder will provide safeguarding system leadership for a defined place, managing the local safeguarding team and workstream including the related strategic plan for their area(s) of activity. They will work with partners across the sector in the delivery of strategic priorities. Work will be varied including provision of advice to strategic commissioners and specialist advise relating to individual cases, oversight and management of team members and deputisation for the Associate Director for Safeguarding and Partnerships.<...
