Design & Technology Technician (Resistant Materials) - August 2026 start

Job Purpose

The Design & Technology Technician (Resistant Materials) supports the safe, effective and efficient delivery of practical learning within the Design & Technology department, with a primary focus on Resistant Materials, Product Design and workshop-based activities.

The technician provides practical, technical and organisational support to staff and students, ensuring workshops, machinery, materials and resources are prepared, maintained and available to support high‑quality teaching and learning across Key Stage 3, GCSE and Post‑16.

• Prepare workshops, machinery, tools, materials and resources for lessons and practical activities.
