Job overview

The post holder will work alongside the Transplant Manager to be responsible for the administrative and day-to-day operational management of the Adult Haematology Transplant Programme within Clinical Haematology at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.


They will act as the key contact point for patients, clinicians, nurses, directorate management and the contracts and finance teams for matters relating to the transplant programme.

Main duties of the job

  • Work closely with the Haematology Transplant Manager and Transplant Coordinators, ensuring the efficient running of the transplant programme, which will include Bone Marrow (BMT), Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-cell (CAR-T) and Sickle Cell (HbSS) transplants.

  • Manage the tissue typing of relatives and the identification of unrelated stem cell donors in collaboration with Anthony Nolan Trust.
