Deputy Director

Ivorypress is looking for an experienced Deputy Director to help shape the next phase of the organisation's development by leading the operational management of its bookshop, publishing activities, cultural programme and institutional relations.

The ideal candidate will bring senior-level experience in bookshop management, along with a strong

knowledge of the publishing, cultural and artists' books sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Bookshop Management

- Manage and oversee the bookshop and its day-to-day operations.

- Select, acquire and develop the bookstock, with a particular focus on architecture, art, design,

photography, critical thought and related disciplines.

- Maintain relationships with publishers, distributors, galleries, institutions and suppliers, nationally

and internationally.

- Identify new business lines and growth opportunities.
