Deputy Director (Humanitarian & Disaster Coordination)

What the role is:

You will provide strategic leadership for the Regional Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) Coordination Centre (RHCC), driving its role as a Centre of Excellence in HADR. You will oversee operational support to MINDEF/SAF HADR missions, steer research and knowledge development, and lead civil‑military partnership efforts across government and regional stakeholders.

What you will be working on:

• Guide knowledge curation in HADR operations research; oversee MINDEF/SAF interests through research topic curation; expand and strengthen RHCC's civil‑military network through targeted engagements; secure partnerships with key stakeholders; compile past engagements and existing collaboration mechanisms; develop Principals' talking points in alignment with MINDEF/SAF's interests.
