Deployment Technician

Description

Looking for resources to support a large-scale Device Replacement Project (DRP), focused on upgrading over 3,000 endpoints to Windows 11 across multiple hospital and clinical sites in Central New York (Cooperstown, Utica, and surrounding areas).

Deploy, configure, and replace desktops and laptops as part of an enterprise-wide Windows 11 upgrade initiative

Execute bulk device deployments based on scheduled site plans

Coordinate with end users (providers, nurses, staff) to minimize disruption to clinical operations

Assist with:

Hardware setup and imaging

Basic networking connectivity

Active Directory tasks (account setup, permissions, device joins)

Ticketing system updates and issue tracking

Follow deployment schedules while remaining flexible to adjust based on on-site needs

Travel between multiple sites within a large regional footprint ( 6,000 sq. miles)
