Requirements

• BChD/BDS or SAQA recognised equivalent qualification.
• Registered with the HPCSA as a dentist in the category Independent Practice.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a dentist (post community service) in a rural public health facility.
• Evidence of self‑development in oral surgery, Diploma/Masters/Primaries.
• It is a 2‑year contract, renewable annually. If poor performance in the first year, the contract can be terminated.

Duties

• Clinical service rendering in the MFOS department.
• Participate in the teaching and learning activities of undergraduate students in the department of MFOS and those prescribed by the University of Pretoria.
