During this challenging time for dentistry, joining NHS Fifes Public Dental Service (PDS) will allow you to contribute to the ever increasing access challenges, whilst developing your career. Dental Services across Scotland have been impacted by COVID-19 and the PDS continues to play a critical role. In addition to providing urgent dental care, you will also play an important role in the prevention of oral health disease, meeting the needs of the ageing population and reducing oral health inequalities.

The available posts offers exciting opportunities for Dental Officers to provide a comprehensive range of treatment for registered and access patients working under the GDS regulations. Providing dental care for priority group and referred patients, you will also offer a range of services to the young and elderly, develop skills in sedation or general anaesthetic and have the opportunity to use them.
