Dental Nurse

Overview

As an RAF Dental Nurse you work alongside our dentists and dental hygienists providing essential support to the practice and ensuring patients receive the highest level of treatment.

Responsibilities

• Select and prepare fillings and impression materials.
• Cast the models on which dentures or appliances are constructed.
• Select, prepare and maintain dental equipment.
• Assist with clinical procedures under the supervision of a qualified dental professional.
• Maintain a clean, safe and efficient working environment.
• Comply with all health‑safety and infection control protocols.

Requirements

• GCSE at Grade C/4‑5 (or equivalent), including English Language; or SCE Standard Grades Grade 2/Scottish National 5.
• Qualified Dental Nurses must hold a current General Dental Council (GDC) registration.
