We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team and support the provision of quality dental care to active military personnel, veterans, and their families. This position offers an opportunity for a long-term contract of up to five years, emphasizing the importance of patient care and support.
Responsibilities
+ Set up instruments for patient visits and planned procedures.
+ Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure.
+ Accurately record treatments in Dentrix, including charting and clinical notes.
+ Maintain supplies and equipment, including inventory and requisition as needed.
+ Clean, package, and sterilize instruments, ensuring proper storage.
+ Deliver patient education on prevention and post-treatment care.
+ Keep the clinic clean and operable and perform routine equipment maintenance.
