Dental assistant

Clinical Duties — Chairside Assistance and Front Desk responsibilities at Beam Dental, Punggol. Contact: Mr Teo .

• Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures, including sterilizing and arranging instruments and setting up materials.
• Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments, operating suction devices, and retracting the patient's cheeks or tongue.
• Mix dental materials such as impression compounds, cements, or fillings.
• Take and develop dental X-rays (radiographs).
• Maintain infection control by following sterilization and disinfection protocols.
• Record patient treatment information in charts or computer systems.
• Provide postoperative instructions to patients as directed by the dentist.
• Apply topical anesthetics or fluoride treatments where permitted.
