Dental Assistant

Job Description

Prepare patients for dental procedures by seating them, explaining procedures, and ensuring their comfort. Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments, operating suction devices, and providing other support. Provide patients with post-treatment care instructions.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Dental Assistant Certification (e.g., from the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB), depending on location).

• Preferred: Completion of a dental assisting program from an accredited institution.
