Role Overview

An exciting new opportunity has arisen in NHS Fife's older adult mental health services as part of the ongoing redesign of the service and transformation of nursing roles. The service seeks a highly skilled individual passionate about dementia care, to collaborate primarily with psychology colleagues in implementing the Newcastle Model Formulation across in-patient and community settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist dementia support, education, and training to staff within older adult mental health services.
• Deliver dementia training and support, and develop person-centred non-pharmacological care plans for people living with dementia experiencing high levels of stress and distress.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and psychology colleagues to implement the Newcastle Model Formulation across in-patient and community settings.
