SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
- Manage and communicate demand planning activities across various supplying sites by initiating production plans based on system demand and anticipated customer orders for all four segments.
- Ensure alignment with site strategies, operational targets and local, regional, segment and corporate objectives and guidelines.
- Prepare short‑and‑long‑term forecasts in close collaboration with Sales and Marketing for all four segments.
- Regularly measure forecast accuracy and proactively implement corrective and preventive actions as required.
- Develop realistic procurement and dispatch schedules by analysing customer demand and translating this into actionable plans, balancing OTIF, inventory levels, shipping capacity and cost considerations.
