DEFENSE TRAVEL SYSTEM SPECIALIST

Summary You will serve as a DEFENSE TRAVEL SYSTEM SPECIALIST in the Headquarters and service Battalion (HQSVCBN), U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific (MARFORPAC) of MARINE FORCES PACIFIC. Responsibilities You will serve as the DTS Compliance and Support Manager for HQSVCBN, MARFORPAC and its supported units. You will implement and administer business rules compliant with DoD and Marine Corps directives. You will promulgate command specific travel policy and mange administrative guidelines for processing travel requests, settling retravel vouchers, an archiving travel documents within DTS per DoD guidance. You will conduct administrative review of DTS operating methodologies and reporting practices as it pertains to DTS implementation /operations.
