Debt Recovery Manager

Summary This position is located in the Railroad Retirement Board's Bureau of Fiscal Operations. The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating all debt recovery activities within the RRB and with other government agencies and external organizations. This job announcement may be used to fill one or more vacancies. This is a non-bargaining unit position. Responsibilities As a Debt Recovery Manager, you will: Oversee and direct the activities of the section through the preparation of operations plans, establishment of priorities, staff allocation, and assignment creation. Supervise a staff of debt recovery supervisors, specialists, and others involved in various aspects of the debt recovery program. Oversee RRB efforts to recover funds through debt collection agencies. Administer the RRB's Treasury Cross Servicing and Offset Programs, which recovers overpayments after routine recovery procedures have failed.
