Daycare Director in Vaasa

Overview

We are seeking a bilingual daycare director for our client company Verkanappulat Oy, for a permanent position in Vaasa. This role leads a small daycare with focus on high-quality early childhood education, staff well-being, and child engagement. We are looking for an engaged, development-oriented leader who wants to influence the unit’s operations comprehensively and build a safe, learning, and inspiring culture with staff. The employment is permanent, and the start date is no later than August 1, 2026. Earlier start dates are possible by agreement.

Responsibilities

• Overall management of the unit and purposeful operations, development of daily routines and pedagogy, and participation in group activities when necessary.
• Be a visible part of daily life at the daycare and interact with children, guardians, and staff.
