Data Warehouse Engineer (IBM DataStage)

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have**

(Ideally should not be

more than 3-5) - DataStage 9 and above - Good Aptitude/Willingness to work extended shifts when required - Strong SQL knowledge

Good-to-Have - Exposure on Oracle Exadata

SN Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

1 Advanced SQL and PL/SQL skills, including extract, transform and load processes and patterns

2 Experience working with very large datasets for daily and intra-day batch processing.

3 Performance monitoring & tuning of SQL statement against database.

4 Good knowledge of data modelling and data warehousing concepts (specifically 3NF and Kimball Dimensional Modelling)

5 Ability to contribute to design/architecture activities and prepare code stubs for others

6 Experience working with DevOps Pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub

7 Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
