Elevate veterinary care with Dutch Vet as a Data & AI Platform Engineer in Vancouver, Canada. Play a key role in building and scaling our AI infrastructure and data platforms.
In this individual contributor position, you will bridge data platform architecture and AI development. Spend half your time enhancing our Snowflake environment and maintaining clinical data pipelines. The other half focuses on developing backend systems that support LLM features in production, ensuring safety and efficiency in operations.
Key Responsibilities: • Co-own the dbt + Snowflake platform with 700+ models • Isolate and maintain warehouse workloads to prevent data failures • Build runtime guardrails for clinical AI applications • Develop observability pipelines and cost-tracking tools • Mentor engineers on coding best practices and reliable system design
