Description The Data Governance Analyst is primarily responsible for assisting the data governance office in identifying and tracking UPMC information assets wherever they are located to ensure appropriate ownership, security, management, and valid authorization for use. The Data Governance Analyst manages the creation, deployment, and maturity of data governance processes and technology including data security posture management, data loss prevention, data risk management, data transfer documentation and approval processes. metadata cataloging and documentation, and other data stewardship and governance processes in relation to the Information Assurance Services department goals.
