As a Data Engineer, you will:
JOB SUMMARY
The role will focus on managing large-scale, secure data transfers, maintaining platform health, optimizing performance, and ensuring compliance with security and governance standards (HIPAA, NIST, Zero Trust). The contractor will collaborate closely with internal teams and stakeholders to establish operational processes, support production readiness, and deliver documentation and knowledge transfer to enable long-term ownership by the Enterprise Interfaces team.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Completing Globus Connect Server (GCS) deployment
• Configuring storage gateways and data transfer workflows
• Onboarding research users
• Providing Tier 1/2 operational support
