Summary Data Engineers develop, construct, test, optimize, and maintain microservice architectures. Data engineers employ Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Deployment (CD) methods to deploy containerized solutions and data pipelines to support various capabilities (e.g., machine learning/AI models, data cleaning and preparation).
