Data Engineer (Barcelona)

Overview

We’re Kabilio, a company backed by two leading venture capital firms, founded by experienced entrepreneurs, Alex Valls and Jose Ojeda. Our goal is to become the go‑to Financial Operating System for accounting firms and SMEs in Southern Europe, unifying accounting, tax, payments, planning, and banking into a single platform.

Responsibilities

• Co‑design the foundations of a Data Warehouse/Lakehouse, partnering with engineering leadership on architecture, ingestion, storage, transformation, modeling, and serving.
• Own end‑to‑end ELT pipelines: build, ship, and maintain robust pipelines that integrate operational systems and external tools.
• Model the data the business will run on: design analytical models and datasets for early reporting and product insights, ensuring consistent metrics across the organization.
