Shift Mechanical Engineer

Operates and maintains all mechanical systems critical to data centre cooling and environmental control. Manages chilled water systems including chillers, cooling towers, pumps, heat exchangers, and associated piping networks. Monitors and optimises HVAC systems, computer room air conditioning (CRAC) units, computer room air handling (CRAH) units, and precision cooling equipment. Conducts regular inspections of mechanical equipment, identifying wear patterns, unusual vibrations, leaks, or performance degradation. Performs preventive maintenance tasks including filter changes, belt inspections, bearing lubrication, and alignment checks. Monitors and maintains optimal temperature and humidity levels throughout the data centre environment.
