Credit Risk Department Head

One of our existing clients in the financial industry is looking to hire a Credit Risk Department Head for one of its group companies.

Job Purpose

The position primarily is responsible for overseeing and managing the credit risks associated with extending credit to individuals or business clients of the bank. The position shall ensure a balanced approach to all credit decisions to avoid potential financial loss resulting from borrower default.

Reporting to: Risk Management Division Head

Qualifications

• At least five (5) years of work experience in credit risk management
• Graduate of finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or any related field. Preferably with master’s degree in risk management or business administration, or certification in finance or risk management
• Candidate should have a background or experience in ECL (Expected Credit Loss) Modeling or IFRS-9 or Loan Provisioning
