Credit Officer / 6-month fixed-term contract

We are currently looking for a Credit Officer on behalf of one of our clients, a private bank based in Geneva, for a 6-month fixed-term contract.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end credit underwriting process in close collaboration with Front Office teams.
• Structure and prepare complex credit requests for approval by the relevant decision‑making authorities.
• Monitor Lombard facilities, Loan-to-Value (LTV) ratios and margin requirements, particularly in relation to derivative transactions.
• Assess collateral quality, oversee high-risk credit exposures and ensure compliance with internal credit policies.
• Validate loan drawdowns, cash transfers, securities transfers, bank guarantees and other credit-related operations.
• Act as a trusted partner to Relationship Managers by providing technical expertise on credit structuring, exception management and margin-related matters.
