Role Overview
The Senior Credit Manager will lead the credit function for Malaysia, overseeing credit evaluation, portfolio risk management, and policy governance across hire purchase (auto & equipment), floor stock financing, and related lending products. The role involves managing a team, ensuring adherence to credit policies, and supporting business growth through sound risk assessment and timely decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Credit Assessment & Approval
- Evaluate and approve credit applications for hire purchase (auto & equipment) and floor stock facilities within delegated authority limits
- Review financial statements, bank statements, CCRIS/CTOS reports, and other supporting documents
- Assess borrower and guarantor repayment capacity, leverage, and overall risk profile
- Monitor portfolio quality, including delinquency trends, concentration risk, and early warning signals
