Vacancy Description
Under the direct supervision of the Purchasing Manager, the Courier is responsible for delivery and pick up services between the Hospital and outside entities.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT(S):
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ Maintain a clean driving record
+ Ability to read maps and or follow street directions
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
+ The position is located indoors, outdoors and in the courier vehicle. Should be able to lift/move 50 lbs. from floor to table and move 250 lbs. on wheels. Must be able to perform tasks that require hand-eye, and/or body coordination, such as loading and pushing carts, and driving a motor vehicle. Should be able to perform moderately difficult manual manipulations, such as using a keyboard, writing, filing for extended periods of time, and performing tasks that require hand-eye coordination such as data entry, typing and using photo copiers.
