Corporate Tax Manager

About Our Client Our client is seeking a Corporate Tax Manager for a 6‑month contract opportunity. The Corporate Tax Manager is a member of the Corporate Tax team in the Financial and Corporate Services Division and reports to the Vice President, Corporate Tax.

About the Opportunity

Audits and Disputes:

• Manage complex tax audits across multiple tax types (income, sales, withholding tax, transfer pricing, etc.), including direct engagement with tax authorities (e.g., Canada Revenue Agency)
• Manage dispute resolution processes including objections, appeals, and Competent Authority negotiations
• Coordinate with external advisors (e.g., Big 4 accounting firms, legal counsel) and internal stakeholders

Compliance, Advisory & Planning:

• Prepare and review tax provisions, returns, and transfer pricing documentation; tax returns include income, sales, withholding tax returns
